I'm no gun nut, but if you can vote before 25 and drink before 25, and join the cops or the military before 25, this seems like a counter-productive provocation to the gun lobby, especially when the country awash guns, both legal and illegal, already.

That's a good point. What about making 25 the new legal adult age? Not saying I would or would not push for that I am just seeing what everyone thinks.

In that scenario where 25 is adult yes. But waivers are there too. The age is 18 now but with a waiver I did it at 17.

Eric you just said the brain isn't fully developed till 25 so how is it justifiable to enlist somebody below 25 in the military I don't care what the law is now I am wonder what the answer to that question is
