I'm one person I can only know and see so much. What problems do you face in your life that a congressional hopeful may one day help with? Unclean water? Wage stagnation? Sexism? Racism? No medical coverage? Poor VA care? Unfair justice system? Anything else?

Lower prescription costs. My mom is struggling to pay for her chemo with insurance and I have a disease there is only one medication FDA approved to treat and it's $1,200 per month in US with private employer insurance I checked Canada prices and it's $150 without insurance sad.

Yes pharmaceutical companies take advantage. I would have to look into all the laws but opening up international trade with medication may help lower cost or offer affordable alternatives.

That 70% of their profits go into advertising not research and development and regulating prices would only prevent like one drug every 10 years. There are reasons that the FDA prevents lower prices as well. Other countries do not approve drugs to market that are not affordable.
