I'm one person I can only know and see so much. What problems do you face in your life that a congressional hopeful may one day help with? Unclean water? Wage stagnation? Sexism? Racism? No medical coverage? Poor VA care? Unfair justice system? Anything else?

High prescription drug costs!! So high I can’t afford one very important drug that will help me with my chronic bowel disease. I lost two jobs because of my disease. I need help!!!!
That is horrible I am so sorry you have to go through that. Medication should not be out of reach for anyone. If your condition prevents you from working you should try applying for social security disability. If accepted you will get Medicare, which may help you get your meds.

Thank you kindly for your quick response - I appreciate your time and directive - I have been turned down once and have a court appeal date set for April...but what do I do now???? Our system is fraught with these kinds of stumbling blocks!

Get a lawyer who specializes in social security. There is no up front cost but they take a cut of your back pay if you win. It is totally worth it imo. In the mean time depending on you situation try applying for Medicaid to try and get your meds. Red tape over red tape sadly.
