How do you all get info on your local candidates? Tv commercials? Mailers? Social media? Yard signs? Some other way?

I've seen plenty of Congress members dodge people like the plague when asked with questions about Trump or other issues they refuse to address.

One of the best things I’ve found is a local mailer that has everyone who is running, their party, and a list of their issues and a brief summary of how they’d work on those. I find it super informative.

Do you canvas? I ask because was canvassed by and Independent last week and it kind of irritated me and I'm not sure why. Made me wonder about the idea itself. FWIW I was forced to canvas by my folks from the age of around 8 so it may be a personal issue

Should add that this lady was also rather cold, and that I read afterwards that she was running on a more or less personal campaign against Adam Schiff, which I'm pretty sure didn't help!
