The drought that happened in Cali was the worst one in over 1k years and are predicted to occur more often. This was around 2015 at its peak.

I just read that!!A 4 yr drought?? I'm feeling like so much of this does not get adequate coverage. Not sure if that's deliberate or just so much going on BUT we have to keep this stuff front and center. This has got to change. Our protests aren't enough, we need people ACTING!

That's just it. You nailed it. Individual and collective action are key. Protesting does little. How many go vegan, embrace minimalism, begin to volunteer for enviro non-profits like
@nrdc or change travel patterns/habits locally and abroad? All too few. We must evolve.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
People don't change until something horrific happens, we are a reactive society not proactive. We want to act only when it's too late. Hopefully this can change before we reach that breaking point.

This is true--and horrific things are happening all around us. Yet the rate of change is much too slow. We must see a much larger population questioning the truths they once held dear. Motivating them to take meaningful action to reduce their impact on life sustaining ecology.

That's part of my plan. People need to realize there is a problem before they can change. Knowledge is the key and I hope to spread it the best I can.
