That doesn't change the fact that someone's ignorance was exploited for some end. Some people are terrible at softball. You could put it on a tee and swing and a miss every time, especially with a camera in your face. I guess I'm just weird for not wanting to bash some kid.

You used the idiom "softball questions" I just stuck with it. Let me rephrase. When people have a camera in their face they may get nervous and have difficulty recalling information regardless how simple the question may be to outside observers.
