I was talking to my mom tonight on the phone about this bill and I could sense her skepticism yet quiet optimism this could pass. As a former field worker and son of field workers, I believe this is needed and important. What’s more important in D.C than putting food on tables?
It would be amazing if this passed and would help a lot of people, especially here in the Central Valley. Yet I doubt it will get it's day in the Senate and if it does it will never get signed under the current President, unfortunately.
