Incredibly amazing of him but the heros are the ones who died for their country who left behind children so others could be free and not carry the burden of securing freedom with their own blood. Just what I think anyway.

As Forrest Gump once said, "Maybe they are both; both happening at the same time." Often those who serve need advocates who can utilize their time, talent, and connections, to champion their needs. He is pretty humble in his efforts and only wants to serve those who served.

Yes it is awesome he does it but his awesomeness should not overshadow the sacrifice of the children's parents who gave their lives. It can be both but one is more than the other. Just my thoughts anyway.

I cannot disagree with you that those who serve should be elevated over those who champion. I guess I just see him as a man dedicated usually fairly quietly and humbly to veterans' groups, and I have donated to two groups he serves because he uses his platform to that end.

Yes he does seem to do it effectively and constantly. He is without a doubt one of the great ones.
