Also, his oldest brother is in the Army, deploying in Feb. It sucks. It’s scary.
Yes it is all you can do is support him and hope for the best.

We do, absolutely. Just scared about what he will encounter. Any advice for how we can help him while he’s gone? Can we send letters? Does that make them miss home more? Can we send snacks or anything?

Care packages are always nice to receive. Letters are nice too. Pictures as well are a nice thing to get. Every little thing helps.
