Medicare is government health insurance. I would love poverty not to be a thing and health prices drug prices to be at a decent level but that consists of several different factors. Those would be a good end goal but insurance and no one homeless is a good start to me.

it's government insurance that doesn't have a profit motive and that makes all the difference in the world.

I'm not an expert on economics so I can not speak to the feasibility or effect that would have on poverty. And I'm running for a seat in Congress not the president I can not just make major changes like that.

No, but you will be one of 435 who vote up or down, thus your position is important. I'm from your district and would give funds to beat the cow poke if I thought you'd support policies I agree with. So far I'm doubtful.

Regardless of which party it came from if I thought it would benefit the people I would vote for it. I admit I do not know everything and am willing to listen to people who know more than me and vote accordingly. I want to represent not dictate.

Of course it would have to be fair to the ag industry too because one day it may be possible but not for a while that robotics can prune, pick grapes, roll them, and all the manual labor intensive work related to ag.

Well like I said if something was fair and addressed the issue I would support it.
