I speak for myself I don't blame firearms or anyone or anything else. This is a problem that has more complexity to it than simply saying guns one way or another.

Accountability. Someone has firearms and they are not properly secured in a gun safe or some other device to ensure no one not cleared to access that firearm gets them then commits a crime the owner is liable.
