I’ve seen a decidedly disheartened shift in replies to my occasional optimism. Perhaps it’s the lockstep GOP response to impeachment hearings & the refusal to recognize criminal facts. But it’s as if people have decided Trump & authoritarianism has won. As if they’ve given up.
