    Do you use @BBEdit to write #reStructuredText? I wrote a language module for that: https://bitbucket.org/EricFromCanada/ericfromcanada.bitbucket.org/src/default/bbedit/reStructuredText.plist … @bbedit_hints @steve_piercy @mjtsai

@EricFromCanada Tried it, but it only seems to recognize the first reST heading in each document. I use the style of =’s above and below.

@mjtsai Thanks for the tip; I just threw in an overline fix. It seemed fast enough when I ran the Python docs through it, how’s it for you?

@EricFromCanada On second thought, I tried it with a 160K text file with very little markup, and it’s incredibly slow.

@mjtsai Probably some sequence is triggering catastrophic backtracking, so if you manage to narrow it down to a particular passage, ping me.

@EricFromCanada That was too slow when I wrote it. I use an attachment script to generate (indented) markers for reST functions when saving.

@EricFromCanada Cool. I’ll be interested to give that a try. My own reStructuredText module doesn’t scan functions.

@EricFromCanada Nice work on the BBEdit reST Language Module https://bitbucket.org/EricFromCanada/ericfromcanada.bitbucket.org/src/default/bbedit/reStructuredText.plist …
