Since we are celebrating #10yearsofMilesMorales, I approached the prompts just like Miles would: by writing. More specifically, haiku!
Day 1: Expectations

but expectations keep them

The theme of battling the expectations placed by others is something that I really connected to with Miles growing up. (aside from his spider being 42 and my lucky number being 24, while also being Latino, and also last named Morales).
Miles taught me that I shouldn't live up to the expectations of others; I need to live up to MY OWN expectations. Control my spark and not let others control it for me.
