I don't think it has full Regen cooling all the way down the nozzle. I think it's more like Merlin. But you would not think that for a multi staged engine

Without regen cooling, it would need film cooling, which would require a gas generator, which this engine doesn’t have. They have to be regen cooled due to being full flow

I understand that quite well I'm just saying that its cooling looks more like a Merlin than a rs25 for example with all the tubes. Unless they really are that small.

If 3D printed, then they can be any shape inside. Even have fins into the tubes for more surface area for heat transfer the the cryogenic methane coolant.

1/2. That's not necessarily true. My understanding is the gas coming out of the preburners is considerably colder than the final combustion products coming out of the nozzle.

2/2. If you designed the injector in such a way as to concentrate either the fuel or the oxidizer towards the edge of the engine you can still achieve some sort of film cooling. Am I way off base here?
