Valorant is basically 'what if csgo had abilities'. I think the game will be more appealing to csgo players than to ow players. Im sure the main reason why people play OW isnt because of its fps nature. If people wanted to go pro in an fps game, why OW when theres csgo or cod?
I think the best shot at getting into an esport is grinding a game from start where everyone start kind of at the same level. But u have to enjoy the game to be the best. Switching games to get into an esport but u dont enjoy playing it is not going to work out.
With that being said. Valorant looks more like csgo/paladins than OW. csgo players will definitely have an edge over OW players but if you're looking to go pro in an FPS game i would highly recommend trying out Valorant over CS cuz getting into cs esport is very hard.
