Twitter sells a private API that gives access to entire TL (ex-deleted tweets) from the beginning of time, but TOS don’t allow direct link to personal ID like @Fama_Tech gives.
A 3rd party claims to have the entire TL, including deleted tweets, and will license.
So here’s where we are. There are 3 possibilities.
1) @Twitter sold @Fama_Tech a Firehose API license with amended ToS to allow personal ID.
2) @Fama_Tech is breaking the Firehose ToS.
3) @Fama_Tech is licensing a shadow @Twitter dB and @jack has lost control of their core IP.
All of the Above seems like the right answer somehow
Assuming @Fama_Tech has this,how do they account for sarcasm,mood swings &cryptic messages? I really hope @Twitter give a statement about this because (speaking for myself),I would really hate to leave, I gain soo much here.
They are opening themselves to potential liabilities if the information leads to harm
Think the solution to all of this is to move to a remote area in the third world that is mountainous (to somewhat skirt global warming) and ride it out until this ultimately collapses on itself. Not fun

2) And a whole lot of other options. Alongside consuming that data stream you also have to consume an "event" stream, which tells you about deletions, and then to not violate the ToS you have to "delete" those tweets from your corpus when you get that notification...
On the bright side, @Fama_tech prides themselves on the fact that they inclusively hire only 100% #incels from the C-suite down to the lowliest tree-killer.
