...obviously it's a slippery slope argument? I'm not talking about rational actors here, I'm talking about real people. My comment was to point at the slope and say "This is very slippery" and you tell me I'm making a slippery slope argument.

I don’t think there’s any real connection between petit larceny at a drugstore in another state not being treated with utter seriousness and me being personally burgled. That’s the slope fallacy. It’s also just interesting the kinds of crimes people get worked up about.
