BREAKING: Washington's NFL team announces official retirement of its racist name and logo, a fight Native activists have been leading for decades. No new name at this time.

We're glad a certain football team changed its racist name, but we aren't going to repeat the racist slur that's in the name. Or give them any props for doing something that should have happened decades ago.

Alas, we have just learned these internships are not paid. Shame on you USGS and USDA. Unpaid internships discriminate against low income students 😡

This is your periodic reminder that A. Dossey is an unsafe individual who frequently makes threats, and has a police record. He is banned from several campuses and meetings; he should have been banned from Entomo-l a decade ago.

On the 4th of July, while some Americans celebrate the Declaration of Independence, we must remember the same document referred to our ancestors as “merciless Indian savages.”

Sharing this again because mainstream media continues to say protestors/protesters/demonstrators. They are treaty defenders. IT IS A FACT. Sources: the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1868 and the 1980 Supreme Court ruling.
