Where I grew up, the marijuana usage per capita is one of the highest in the country. It was a basic aspect of adolescent socialization.

There's nothing inherently wrong with teenagers doing soft drugs as an aspect of socialization. There's nothing inherently wrong with drugs.

Agreed, but nothing inherently wrong is a far cry from nothing wrong. I think our "illegal but not really" stance on marijuana is correct
