I disagree with his thesis, MacDonald's idea of group action seems much more observable.

I would say no. Jews belong in Israel, thus no out-group threat to them. How do you decide what Jews? No idea.

How tightly bound is ethnicity to nationalism? If tight, then Jews would have no true place in White Ethnostate.
