my main attraction to making a Right Wing Reading Club is that I’m really bored using Twitter. i want to make some sort of content for the folks that follow me, but it feels like there aren’t a lot of tweets left in my brain.

A lot of the problem with the dissident right that I've seen is that many of the edgy kids who meme about Evola haven't read any of the foundational theory of the ideas they're opposing (or their own, even), so make sure to read center-left theory too. Rawls, etc.

True enough, but that people are reading Evola or Guenon at all in 2018 strikes me as a kind of miracle

I think Evola is really overrated, and that dissident right-wingers are going to have to confront the *reality* of modernity before they get a genuine chance to comment on it. History is moving at a breakneck pace and we can't spend all of our time looking backwards.

Insofar as he became a meme he's overrated, insofar as before he became a meme he was completely forgotten he's underrated. I won't comment on tradition vs modernity as I haven't resolved my thoughts on the issue, though I agree the idea of reversing the clock is naive
