    2020 has been really hard. Lost most of my income to COVID-19 cancellations. Bc I'm immunocompromised & disabled, I can't work outside of my home. My birthday is on 9/1, any & all gifts are appreciated.

    Woke up not feeling too hot. Might have a slight fever and I had light sensitivity. Called the urgent care about possibly getting a COVID-19 test and they said it'd be $100 out of pocket plus $100 billing since my insurance won't cover the test unless I've had direct contact with

    Yep. I have a few regulars who use the frog, and it always, always rubs me the wrong way. Best case scenario, if you use this, mods are gonna keep an eye on you.

    I've yet to figure out what is so special about that frog that makes out worth reclaiming in the first place. When people come to my chat with frog emotes, I don't immediately assume the worst, but you're asking me to make a quick call to decide if you're using them in bad faith.

    This. I get that some think their community is overall "good" & "harmless" they can keep using the hate symbol frog but really it just shows you're privileged to think this & the symbol doesn't directly affect you so you don't care how it affects BIPOC. Impact > intent.

    I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect change to come solely through this, but eventually we do have to stop fucking using Facebook/IG. Full stop. And do so in a way that a) gains yr avg user’s sympathy & b) creates a tunnel to maintain one’s following onto other platforms
