2 weeks ago, the EU finally imposed #sanctions against #China, something I've been calling for for a long time. I explicitly welcomed this by expressing my great praise, in form of a #letter to @JosepBorrellF, @CharlesMichel & the EU foreign ministers, which I have told you about
Now I got a first answer from the Danish Foreign Minister @JeppeKofod, who very much welcomes the sanctions against China. He likewise hopes that the @EUCouncil will impose even further actions against China due to the #HumanRights
situation in #HongKong.

In addition, @JeppeKofod is willing to personally work towards relevant #actions necessary to address the situation in #HongKong, such as a careful review of the relationship between the EU and HongKong.
