First it was a subscribe button. Then it was a bell icon. Now there's a sub menu in the bell icon where you need to specify "all" AND "creator posts" And they still try to hide them even if you click through all these hoops.

Actually, I think it's the perfect time. However, new creators should choose not to monitize and use Patreon or PayPal on thier own website to promote commercial free viewing that links to YT. Use youtube like they tried to use us by not playing by thier rules.

I absolutely agree. Abuse YouTube's bandwidth but do not enable ads on any of your videos. Let them hemorrhage money until they close shop or reverse course. Monetize your content other ways which do not pad YouTube's pockets.

Exactly. They don't create the content so they need our creators more than our creators need them. If someone uses a "need" to control you, learn how not to need that thing, I say.
