But the fact is there is no mention of FGM in the Quran. There is no mention of this being done to the Holy Prophets wives and daughters. It is much later that this prevalent cultural practice was given an islamic connotation

What a load of BS. Male circumcision is also not mentioned in the Quran but we all agree that it is obligatory for Muslims
