Finding "things" is definitely positive but nobody will fly on it until the root cause is known. And the inflight abort test can't even be done until the root cause is known in cast they need to redesign the super dracos.

Don't think there is any doubt about the dracos, haven't they had like 600 tests performed? More likely something else imo (salt water damage maybe?)

I'm impressed with how both NASA and SpaceX are handling this. Yeah, it sucks, but it's a positive opportunity to learn and improve whatever they find, related and unrelated. Setback, sure, but one that will ultimately make Dragon an even better vehicle.

Important to note the distinction between "root cause" and "what made it blow up." They undoubtedly have the immediate reason for the latter, the more challenging part is identifying the true origin that began the series of events. Could be design, operations, defect, etc.
