At what point is a violent response to initiated force by the state become warranted? Some might say the threat of being locked in a cage for trying to provide for their family is just. Maybe instead we should tell these people we understand and show them a better way

The philosophical reasoning has been eroded by time and rhetoric, but the idea is that an armed population would collectively be a deterrent to tyranny doing tyrannical stuffs in the first place.
