No way. It was the russians who took Berlin. Americans did well in the pacific (except for the atomic bombing thing), but the nazis were almost entirely a russian and british thing.

US air supremacy destroyed Nazi war fighting capability. Look at what happened after the war. On the Soviet side, the iron curtain shot up and behind it was poverty and misery and people trying to escape. On the American side people prospered in liberty.

Has no one thought about the fact that the British were the ones who put everything in place, America only stepped in as man power. And even then they only helped cos the British said they would give up some commonwealth deals

Wrong. Lend-Lease. America put it's huge manufacturing and agriculture base to work and supple Britain and the Soviet Union. Without US supplies Britain would have starved. Without US supplies, Germany would have been in Moscow in 1941.
