The crisis benefits EU. Macron knows it. He is no different from all b4 him. Dictators in Africa r part of EU development. If u organiz Africa u destabiliz EU. And that is not happening with them as "collaborators". Africa's fate is in the hands of Nigeria, Ghana n South Africa.
-
Exactly! The French are some of the worst offenders of history concerning colonialism. If the west engaged in fair trade and not exploitative practices, Africans would not have to migrate.
-
We as Africans must learn to fight for ourselves... If we don't, no one will. The problem with modern Africa is not the colonialist but our African leaders themselves
-
The youth must be empowered through their own identity and not one that is approved by the west.

What would be “good for Africa” is for you to firstly return all the things you stole. We would also like a robust repayment plan initiated for your former colonies. Give them back their money.

You are 100% right Mr. President. We cannot let everybody in our country, but we can help develop Africa and turn it into a good place to live.
-
Always same talk !! Enough, Africa has to help heself without us !!
-
They cant succeed alone because of corruption and islamists etc. We have to help and to control the money is used only for good purposes, and we have to make sure there is no war to destroy everything they build.
-
Already done for more than four decades now, and what is the result ??

Dear President Macron, I’m yet to see any concrete steps to correct root causes of the migration crisis. Poor governance and neocolonialism. As long as France hand picks a President for Cameroon, who hand picks the regional Governors, nothing changes.

I think Europe should pay Africa for Colonialism and slavery first. Acting as if you are not back for neo colonialism.
-
Europe has left Africa for decades now... The question now is who has been setting Africa backwards since then?
-
France never left Africa. Since so called decolonization France has been heavily manipulating African countries everyone knows its and open. You probably know it to. France has overthrown several African governments just to back tyrannical regimes
