You knew about this before. Emmy was speaking up against her but you not only ignored it but acted all offended with Emmy’s comments and her not wanting to support this. While being all friendly with Roseanne. Speaking up after it was cancelled is a little late.

Y’all do need to realize she is 18.... chill. We all weren’t perfectly aware of things in the past that we are aware of now. This is a learning experience for her.
-
A lot of us were aware at 18 because we lived through it. There are millions of people who have been discriminated against based on race, religion, and economic status prior to turning 18. Her age is no excuse.
-
Exactly you LIVED though it. She fortunately hasn’t. That isn’t her fault. So instead of punishing her for not living through it you should be praising her for using her platform to LEARN and help the problem which is clearly what she is doing. Stop bashing her like she Roseanne
-
No, that's also not an excuse. She, possibly more than anyone, has access to the knowledge of our oppression. These people are willfully blind and selectively aligned with us. This is a ploy to save her career, nevermind that she was booked on a show accessed of
-
I’m sorry just because she makes more money than us and has a bigger platform doesn’t erase the fact she is human and just became an adult. Lol I am a black female who grew up homeless. I understand oppression but what I don’t understand is oppressing others becuse of my own.
-
No one is talking about her income. No one is oppressing her by holding her accountable. We're all on the same app where Roseanne has made her views known for years. Has she magically gained the ability to understand Roseanne's words at 18? Come on now.
-
No but she has met Roseanne in public and her being as young as 18 and having a big heart she probably chose to focus on Roseanne’s good traits. We don’t know how Roseanne portrays herself in front of people. That woman is calculating.

regardless she is still able to say them and speak them due to free speech which america seems to have forgotten, regardless if her remarks were crude and crass she still has a right to say them.
-
Freedom of speech today only applies to the liberal fascist far left.
-
It also applies to the right as well. Of course, the right does not see this. Rosanne said a horrible thing. Consequences of her actions will happen.pic.twitter.com/4LJ3Nu4NIQ

I do agree, her comment was very distasteful and inappropriate. My problem is the huge double standard. What about the horrible things said by the biddies on The View? Where are their consequences?

There is a MASSIVE difference between speaking about how you think the policies of someone are reprehensible, and saying something racist. You're playing a false equivalency game.

Stephen Colbert makes homophobic and Hitler references about the President. No problem. Joy Behar makes crack about Christians. No problem. Jimmy Kimmel features skits with grotesque KellyAnne Conway puppet. No problem.
-
Apparently freedom of speech is only for the left...
-
Like Colin Kaepernick?

-
Colin Kaepernick was using a football game that people go to in order to escape politics and work stress to show disrespect to our nation.
-
Um no
-
Apparently to the “conservatives”, when a minority peacefully protests when the government kills unarmed black people without accountability, that’s disrespecting our nation.

-
Unfortunately they've bastardized the term "conservative". I'm conservative, but I don't even remotely recognize the GOP. To be completely honest, they've gone to hell since Eisenhower. However, even Reagan was way more left than this bunch of psychopaths.
