New College’s previous president made $305,000 a year, received $40,000 for housing and $8,000 for a car allowance. Richard Corcoran will earn $699,000, with $84,000 for housing and $12,000 for car allowance. He also can get a salary bonus of 15%

Trustee Keenan says Corcoran will make $400,000 more than the previous president, a huge increase that she said raises concerns about setting salary expectations too high for future employees at the small school

Attempted to get a reservation at Oyster Oyster by signing up for alerts, was emailed about a table suddenly available 6 weeks from now, and in the time it took me to find my credit card and pay the deposit, it was gone. I feel like Ahab right after his leg gets bit off.

Aside from all the other losses, KidsPost is great! Such a good resource for both kids and adult learners who want to interact with the news in an approachable way. I use the links regularly and am very bummed it will be no more.
