House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy told me “we’ll see” when asked if Cheney and Kinzinger will be punished for serving on Jan 6 committee. I asked him the last time he talked to either of them: “Couldn’t tell you.” He called them “Pelosi Republicans.”

We’re still witnessing the largest under-reaction to a violent insurrection led by a sitting president in the history of humankind. It’s because the Republican Party/trump are experts at one thing: Denying the premise of reality and convincing people anti-government is government

So democrats won the election and were in congress for the certification of the official results anointing Biden president and they decided to secretly try to overthrow themselves to stop it to make trump look bad while he happened to be down the street telling people to do that?

We’re living through an endless cycle of republican abuse of power and obstruction of justice that has seen two impeachments and an ongoing insurrection so far. There is no end, no bottom, they simply will not comply with the imperatives of government or institutions of justice

Wrong question. McCarthy should be asked why he’s not concerned that only two of his members think it’s important to investigate exactly why the 1/6 Insurrection ocurred. Why did he back down from his original statement that Trump had caused it?

has he reviewed their voting records? They are as republican as you can get. What's his criteria? (rhetorical question)
