But the Home Office said it wasn’t up to them to assess the presence of collapsing concrete in local police & fire stations, & the Ministry of Justice said it would cost too much to answer the question in respect of our prisons & courts! That is unacceptably complacent. (2/2)

After the discovery in hospitals and schools around the country of a type of concrete prone to sudden collapses, I asked several other departments whether similar material was present on their estate. The MOD said they were undertaking surveys…(1/2)
