Dava Sobel’s “The Planets” — what an awe-inspiring book, packed with beautiful prose that reads like poetry, fascinating tales of discovery, and Sobel’s own charming, deep affection for the wonders beyond our atmosphere. instagram.com/p/CValMqkgzoy/
Now begins the countdown to the 2022 season, esp the return of my forever fav . Hoping for (at least) #onemoreyear for Sue Bird. Wished the Storm could’ve made it further into playoffs but was a treat to see Bird+Taurasi on the court together in the 2nd round

More than 670,000 white flags have been planted on the Washingon Mall to honor each American death from coronavirus.
It’s incredibly difficult to capture the sheer scale of this project with one photo, or even one video.

Listening to ’s episode about the score of #TheMartian is just what I needed on the way to work this morning — a nice distraction, while also evoking the near-unshakeable optimism of Mark Watney.
