Fennec will stay on Bugzilla but isn’t very actively being worked on right now, but Android Components will the basis of big things on Android in the next year!

Is Fennec going to be phased out, perhaps replaced by a new codebase? (Looking at the user stories for the Kotlin-based Fenix on GitHub, it kind of looks like that, but maybe not.)
