No one ruined a Nazi's life by putting a name to public activities. Nazis have ruined their own lives by willingly and knowingly participating in violence and promoting murder and genocide.

This is also not an endorsement. There are things society finds disgusting and should not. All people should be able to join a pride parade, for instance. They can't. The statement isn't less true.

But in the context of public demonstrations and public behavior that encourages racism and bigotry, absolutely there is nothing wrong with naming and shaming. Public actions have public consequences. This is not revelatory.
