Self-driving trucks and automated voice assistants are really good ways to take the wages from millions of working class people and shoving it directly into the pockets of a few hundred executives and data folks that do calculus real good.

The tech industry is recreating the Company Town. People living on campus. Uber selling subprime car loans. Schools, food, childcare all managed through the company.
