Even in the ranks of anarchists, we see the reconstruction of the state and the patterns of racial oppression. Removing the effect of the state is not enough. The state reinforces society but is not solely responsible for it.

So when I see antifascists acting as if state repression was invented for them, I simply shake my head. Slave rebellions were blooming and evolving and failing long before modern fascism even entered the political sphere.

This is not to say that "antifa" or antifascists or any other contemporary activist struggle is not right to be against state oppression. It is to remind those in those struggles to stop centering themselves over objectively older and more severe histories of oppression.
