At one point tonight, while awaiting a jury result, my partner and I ran and grabbed pizza for ourselves and others. Solidarity looks like sitting on a sidewalk outside a courthouse at 10 pm waiting for a verdict.

Most of us in Charlottesville were thrust into this by virtue of it being where we live. I could not be prouder than I am to be among these people.

I don't know why the Nazis picked Charlottesville. Maybe they thought it'd be an easy town to terrorize. They chose poorly.

A lot of people came from out of town to defend Cville, and for that our community is grateful. But the day to day stuff, that's all us. Locals refusing to be terrorized by the threats of Nazi violence.
