If you are a successful, independent young woman they are terrified of you. Add a social media following or any level of popularity or fame and that fear becomes nearly pathological.

I'm not talking about myself here per se. I'm talking abouy how every time I discover a new woman on this platform with 20k+ followers I don't need to scroll very far down her timeline to see her talking about harassment.

You know how as comedians get famous they start telling airport and travel jokes? As successful women navigate their lives and careers through modern digital media they all have to discuss and handle harassment. It's fucking uncanny.

I don't think it's only millennial women they're frightened of.
-
Definitely not. I use that specific signifier because the subscribers to those hateful ideologies are largely millennials at present.

#2 (also key, in my opinion): belief in biological/genetic determinism.
-
I'd say this is at least tied with an extreme victimhood complex and a talent for projection.
-
I just bring it up because seems to me it's being understated most places. Alt-right and friends get away very often with claiming it's all about economy, nation, history, etc. Incels just straight up will tell you it's about genes.
-
(their skewed perception of what genes mean in terms of attraction/attractiveness and the ideal man and woman anyway)

You're saying independent millennial, Alt-right, conservative, women live in terror of other women?
-
people who live in freedom are always terrifying to people who live in fear
-
That's not just your opinion is it? It does not gel with my experience. You, no doubt, have some strong statistics to back you up. I'd love to see the facts people build their life-beliefs on.
-
your experience is not the whole of the universe, my dude. The burden of proof falls equally on your shoulders.
-
I prefer the null hypothesis - innocent 'till proven guilty.

This guy’s a climate “skeptic” who thinks Jordan Peterson has good ideas.

Conservative women are often scared of female sex workers, trans women, queer women, black women, women with hijabs, sexual women, asexual women, migrant women, poor women and any woman that embraces her body in a way they don't understand or that could be perceived as a threat.

Think they dislike all women, not just millennials.
