The Nazis are using some ridiculous language, saying he used a "flamethrower." Like, I know y'all are afraid of hairspray. But igniting an aerosol can is a long way off from a "flamethrower."

Even former Charlottesville City Counselor Bob Fenwick has come out in strong opposition to his charges, saying that igniting hairspray was something he did as a 10 year old in summer camp and that there is no moral equivalence in that act to being shot at.

Corey's actions were heroic and innovative. He went unarmed and faced off against dozens of armed KKK members, Nazis, and Confederates, all of whom would kill him if they could do so legally.

He did. He re-chambered his gun and fired. He is awaiting trial in a few weeks for a Class 4 felony.

Media groups galore did articles with a cover photo of Corey with a hairspray can. we could fill the court for months with a million witnesses.

IIRC, the spray can wasn't even his -- it had been thrown at either him or the man he was defending, and he repurposed it on the fly to defend the guy.
