I do not understand why we are not fixing the problems in Flint and all the other communities drinking poisoned water. There seems to be no downside to spending the money and creating jobs to ensure healthy water supplies. That we are not tells me it is racial and class disdain.

In 1824, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute opened in Troy, NY to provide education to the engineers building and designing the Erie Canal. In 2018, we should be providing education & jobs to the people of Flint to design and build a public infrastructure that can last 200 years
