Ultimately I needed a revision to remove some painful scar tissue. I had that done last week. The revision basically took a skin graft from my abdomen to fix what was wrong. It meant another week with intense healing, but less intense than before.

Today I got all the stuff removed (drain, catheter, packing) and the healing checked out. It was great and I instantly feel better.

Trans surgeries are super-invasive and the healing is not linear. It's not always one shot. I was lucky I could afford the revision. But even with an extensive healing process it was worth it for my physical and emotional health.
