as you know bc you and I have discussed this many times, I've been tracking their alliances since Breivik. I am of course peeved by how late mainstream media is to this party. So much could have been avoided if only they had been doing their job
-
For real. The wakeup call for me was seeing the GI logo in Charlottesville as well as appearances of it in their private chatlogs.

The good news is that the American fascist factions are not nearly as good at fundraising as many assume them to be.
-
no, true that! BUT to me what's equally dangerous is that the Mercers and Koch do fund similar ideologies as long as they come in a more respectable package. So we won't get Spencer or Heimbach as government but we get Bannon behind the scenes instead
-
And honestly, they don't need to be good at fundraising. Being good at fundraising would likely only be counterproductive in terms of being viewed as something that comes from and represents the people. It's a many-headed monster, this. Some heads prettier than others.
-
Given the legal woes in the US, I'd say an inability fundraise is having a huge impact.
-
Eh, not really. It's just one head. Another will rise in its place. This isn't the kind of thing that disappears after a single failure. Their base is still out there, and they know this. It will create another assemblage, and then try again.
-
Probably, but the momentum is not in their favor. And the epic infighting in their movement now will also be a burden. Now-former TWP can't pay its legal bills. Spencer is giving up. The lawsuits are crushing them. They'll never go away, but they are feeling some hurt rn.
