Generally speaking, being a technologist and doing industry activism is more than one shift of labor: like many technologists, I have my dayjob and then my "sideprojects." But since my "sideprojects" is industry activism, I also have to spend shifts mitigating harassment.

Also, there's all this Nazi stuff, and like, that takes a lot of time. Like, I have to go file a police report today. Which means I have to organize all the evidence to bring to police, which is labor.

This sucks, btw, because I take no pleasure in it. But I have a family. And it's not like I have an alternative pathway to a protective order or any other protective measure that will help ensure that the ongoing threats abate.

Do you have techniques to work around being blocked/overwhelmed? I often also work on too many things at once, so I'd say 95% of my side projects never reach fruition.
