My partner last night brought up an excellent point regarding Kessler. He didn't go there to speak. He went there to challenge the authority of a black woman. He failed.

It's clear that he had nothing to say. He spent the first 15 seconds whining about the crowd and the next 2:45 whining about his time. Mayor Walker kept the crowd in check, let him waste his time crying, and dismissed him. Her grace throughout this process was impeccable.

Jason wore a bodycam to try to frame the situation as his rights being denied. They weren't. He was outmaneuvered, which isn't hard, but the racism he displayed by trying to talk down the authority of the Black woman in charge was palpable.

Spencer, too, had nothing to say yesterday, though he rambled for an hour. His premises are incoherent and shallower than a puddle. You can summarize them in a tweet. There's nothing meaningful, even in a meaningfully evil way, about his views.

Spencer's whole point is to play the victim to try to make leftists look bad. Given an hour of uninterrupted stage time he has nothing to offer. It's not like the people who failed to get in were carrying his powerpoint slides.
