A few weeks ago, I asked why teachers weren't striking like the students were. Several people told me it was illegal so it'd never happen. Now: an "illegal" strike in WV, and a planned strike in OK, where it is "illegal" to plan such an action.

So please try reading what I'm actually saying, or go find a platform other than my mentions to talk about your unrelated knowledge.

You are far too fond of your ignorance. It's embarrassing. I'm out.
-
Good, I asked you to leave a long time ago. Next time try saying, "wow you're right, I totally misread what you said and I'm sorry"

One last thing, since you seem to be so ignorant of how the rest of this works: when people say it would be "illegal" for the teachers to participate in a political walkout they don't mean the teachers would go to jail, they mean the teachers would be fired. Unions. Look them up.
-
Point to me where I said jail. I'll wait.
-
Never said you did, just going along with your general ignorance about labor issues.
-
Like, you seem to be reading a lot into something that's not a thing. Do I need to show receipts? I'm going to show receipts.

Their unions would have VOTED on those strikes. An spontaneous walkout not based on a labor dispute would be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Stop. You need to hear that you're talking about things you don't understand.
-
You're being extremely pedantic about something that has literally no bearing on this discussion.
-
You brought up the WV and possible OK strikes, which are labor disputes. Not the same as political protests.
-
My original question was about a labor dispute, specifically worker safety. But you haven't stated a basis about why the distinction matters at all.
-
It's called contract negotiation by unions and management and it's a process.
