But also he only destroyed the upper. That lower is still functional and you can fit a new upper to it.https://twitter.com/ABCPolitics/status/965711747419115522 …

Do you think that everyone would start retooling and making copies of like, the Springfield M1A if the AR-15 were banned?
-
The .30-'06 caliber isn't conducive to the popularity phenomenon in question here. How much do you know about the issue?

Anyone who read that radiologist's article in The Atlantic should be ashamed to put their hands on an AR-15 again. No living being deserves to be shot with a weapon like that.

If you ban Fords, people will buy Chevys, no?
-
What's the Chevrolet in this metaphor, Clyde?
-
Well I dunno, but I'm guessing - just spitballing here, you know - that there are other semiautomatic rifles for sale. Ones that take the same ammo as AR15, but aren't all black and scary and so don't have a chance in hell of being banned.
-
They are all AR-15 based. See how short an answer that was?
-
This isn't ar15 based, silly. It's an older model Remington semiautomatic. I looked it up on Wikipedia! Is your argument "You know, homicidal gun maniacs are going to forego their murderous rampages because can't find a really tactical looking gun"?pic.twitter.com/ORX6iIFW0N

There are no high-capacity magazines available for that rifle, one of which I used to own myself. It's cute you thought you could surprise me. Your argument is invalid.
-
And a high capacity magazine matters because......school shooters have usually faced a lot of time pressure?
