It bugs me that Simon & Schuster is dropping it "without costs to either party". Milo should pay for the expenses for a frivolous lawsuit. :/

AFAIK publishers expect to lose money on most books, and make it up on the cut they get from the hits. Given the quality of Milo's arguments, it's unlikely the lawyers+whatever chunk of the advance he kept cost more than the average for an unknown writer's first novel.
